Leave your hotel around 7:30 am and embark on a journey of visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall first since it’s less crowded in the early morning. Private transportation with an experienced driver will make your tour relaxing and comfortable. Drive around 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall where you will be helped by the friendly tour guide to recall the adventurous history of the Great Wall on the way. Skip-the-shuttle bus will save you almost one hour since we can drive to the top parking lot with the special permission. You may take the cable car or chairlift to go up to the Wall with your tour guide and you will spend around 2 hours to enjoy the the Watch Towers, the Beacon Towers, undertake a relaxed hiking and devour the beautiful  scenery that surrounds the Great Wall. You will come down by the cable car or the unique slide way on the toboggan around 11:00 am and the driver will take 1.5 hours to get you back safely and comfortably to the downtown city where you will have lunch at the Lost Heaven Yunnan Cuisine restaurant for 1 hour. A 2.5 hours ride will transport you to the Tian’anmen Square and Forbidden City in the afternoon. You must walk around the largest city center square in the World and capture some memorable photos with the landmark buildings around the Tian’anmen Square. You can then enter the Forbidden City and your tour guide will explain the history and the layout of the Forbidden City for you to relate with the city better, after crossing the Meridian Gate.The Front court with the three main government Halls, the Inner Palace with the living quarters are worth visiting, and then walk through the beautiful Imperial Garden to get out of the Forbidden City. You will be dropped back to your hotel at around 4:30 pm.
