Drive around 2 hours to the Gubei Water Town. Your tour guide will explain the related history and stories about the Great Wall on the way. Explore the Gubei Water Town with your tour guide. The Gubei Water Town is a replica of Wuzhen Water Town in the Southern China. You will find many interesting shops, decent restaurants, and distinctive hotels there.Just experience the beautiful scenery of the water town without traveling all the way to southern China. Take the cable car to reach the top of the Simatai Great Wall. You will have some free time to hike around, enjoy the wonderful view in the area ,and overlook the entire Gubei Water Town. It’s just getting dark when you’re ready to leave the Great Wall. The Simatai Great Wall is the only section of the Great Wall in Beijing has the light on at night. On the way back to the Parking lot, you will enjoy the fantastic night view of the Water Town also. Drop you back to your hotel around 10:30 pm.
