Tour Description
Your friendly tour guide will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30 am. Drive 1 to 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. This beautiful section of the Great Wall is less crowded in the early morning. You can take the cable car or chairlift to go up to the Wall to save your energy. You will have around 2 hours to hike on the Wall. Your tour guide will tell you the interesting history, accompany you to explore the Watch Towers and the Beacon Towers, take memorable photos for you and also give you some free time to enjoy by yourselves. Have a simple lunch at a nice local restaurant for dumplings or Chinese dishes. Drive another 40 minutes to the Ming Tombs. There are 3 Tombs with the Sacred Way opened to the Public. You can choose one of them to visit. Changling Tomb is the biggest and best preserved tomb of the 13 Tombs. Dingling Tomb is the only one has been excavated so far and you are able to visit the Underground Palace. The Sacred Way is really impressive to take photos with the huge animal statues and figure statues. You will have the flexibility to choose any part to visit as you want. Drop you back to your hotel after the 9 hours tour.
