Your friendly tour guide will pick you up at your hotel at 7:30 am. Drive 1 to 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. This beautiful section of the Great Wall is less crowded in the early morning. You can take the cable car or chairlift to go up to the Wall to save your energy. You will have around 2 hours to hike on the Wall. Your tour guide will tell you the interesting history, accompany you to explore the Watch Towers and the Beacon Towers, take memorable photos for you and also give you some free time to enjoy by yourselves. Have a simple lunch at a nice local restaurant for dumplings or Chinese dishes. Drive another 1 hour to the Summer Palace. Spend around 1.5 hours to enjoy the former imperial Garden with your lovely tour guide. Walk through the Government Building, Residential area, relax along the Long Corridor, climb up to the Tower of Buddhist Incense and finally see the famous Marble Boat at the end of the Corridor. Take the Dragon Boat to go through the lake to get out of the Garden.(the boat is just available from April to Nov.) Drop you back to your hotel after the 9 hours tour.
